Full text: "In this work a new subfamily Manayunkiinae subfam. nov. was established within Fabriciidae for the genera Echinofabricia, Manayunkia, Monroika (including Brandtika). The authors also stated all other genera of Fabriciidae belonged in a new subfamily they newly named Fabriciinae. However, Fabriciinae already exists and cannot be created again. The subfamily Fabriciinae within Sabellidae was created by Rioja, 1923 for type genus Fabricia Blainville, 1828. Subsequently Kupriyanova & Rouse (2008) used the name at family rank as Fabriciidae. Under ICZN (1999) article 36.1 "Statement of the Principle of Coordination applied to family group names" and article 37 "Nominotypical taxa" Rioja is the author of all family rank names based on genus Fabricia, and his original taxon Fabriciinae Rioja, 1923 becomes the nominotypical taxon for Fabriciidae Rioja, 1923. Consequently, corrections are necessary in the text and figures of Bick & Bastrop (2025) so that all mentions of "Fabriciinae subfam. nov." are replaced with "Fabriciinae Rioja, 1923".
